When Jessie visited back in May we made the short trip up to Segovia one day. It didn't get off to the smoothest start (let's just say I was still getting a handle on train travel), and there was definitely a point when we were wandering around without any idea of where we were going. But, once we finally found the old part of the town we were enchanted! The aqueduct and the view were incredible, as was the weather. For lunch we stuffed ourselves with cochinillo, a dish that Segovia is famous for. We didn't have a lot of time to stay in Segovia since there was another place we wanted to go that afternoon, so unfortunately we didn't get to go to the Alcazar, which is also supposed to be amazing. I fully intend to make another trip though!
